Holaaaa
Nädal jälle möödas ja palju uusi asju märganud selle ajaga mis suhteliselt huvitavad on. Väsitav aga lõbus nädal jälle Kinderis ära oldud, PALJU uusi, suuri ja väga sügelevid sääskede hammustusi juures ka :-( Ja sipelgate hammususti también.
*Hakkasime joogat tegema siin, sest Jennifer tõi jooga DVD kaasa.
*Ükskord pärastlõunases tunnis üks poiss tuli kitsaste teksapükstega sinna ja paljud naersid ta üle. Me küsisime Dianaga et miks nad naeravad sest mis seal imelikku on? Ja ütlesime et Euroopas käivad enamus poisse isegi kitsastemate teksadega ringi.
*Nii lahe on siin et pole reegleid et kui palju inimesi võib autos istuda või et nt auto tagakastis ei tohi istuda, sest ükskord kui Kinderist tagasi kõndisime, üks tavaline punane auto oli tee ääres ja seal kõrval oli mingi 20 last ja nad läksid üksteise järel autosse, aina läksid ja läksid, nagu klouni auto vms :D :D Ma ei teagi, mingi 15 ikka mahtus sinna vist :D
*Minult on juba mitu korda küsitud et kas mul lapsi ka on :D Eelmine reede kui taksojuhiga rääkisime ütles nagu iseenesestmõistetavalt et 'laps on ka jah?' Ma ütlesin et eiii ma olen alles 19 :D
*Käisime paar päeva tagasi jälle toidupoes, ja ostsin nii palju ning maksin ainult 400 lempiirat ehk 22 dollarit. Enamus aega veedan puu ja juurvilja osakonnas :D Leidsin kaerahelbed ka ning ostsin moosi. Kodu maitse.
*Ma pole siiani veel ühtegi normaalset šokolaadi näinud siin. Ainult küpsiseid ja Snickersit jms aga mitte šokolaaditahvlit.
*Ööd on siin nii mõnusad. Ei ole kuum, aga külm ka pole. Õhk on tavaliselt värskem, eriti kui vihma ka sadanud on, ning kui tähed ka väljas on siis on perfecto!!
*Paljudel ehitistel siin mis kõikide poolt kasutatakse on maalid peal. Näiteks politseimajal, Kinderil, koolimüüril. Ning nii ilusad on ka need joonistused, näiteks Hondurasest, merest, inimestest.
*Kinderis lapsed täielikult armastavad kleepse. Kui nad saaks, nad kleebiksid end vist täiesti kleepse täis :D
*Liblikad keda vahepeal siin lendamas näeb on väga ilusad ja päris suured. Näiteks täiesti säravsinine.
*Eile kui jalkastaadionist mööda kõndisin päeval oli seal mingi kohtumine kahe tiimi vahel ja staadion oli täiesti prügi täis. Isegi selle jaoks ei oldud igasuguseid pakendeid ja kilepakendeid ära korjatud, ning vahepeal söövad seal üldse hobused heina.
*Kui üks päev peale Kinderit koju kõndisime, nägime üht vana meest kes inglise keeles ütles paar roppu lauset kus ta midagi immigrantide kohta ütles. Ning siis ma sain aru et ta ütles seda meile sellepärast et ta arvas et me ameeriklased oleme ning sellepärast et seal on koguaeg immigrantide probleemid ning meie oleme siin ka ju immigrandid. Siis ma ütlesin et me oleme Euroopast ning see mees ütles et 'vabandust, head päeva!' :D :D Nii hea on mitte-ameeriklane olla. Ja eriti hea on eestlane olla, keegi ei vihka sind, väike süütu riigike millest keegi kuulnud pole ja kes kellegile pole kunagi halba teinud :D
*Eile õhtul läksime siis Honduras v Panamat vaatama ühte klubi/pubisse. Mäng oli päris huvitav, aga 0-0 seis jäi kahjuks. Sinna sõitsime auto tagakastis, ülifun :D Ja laulsime Hondurase hümni. See koht oli avatud, ning kui vihma sadas siis sadas seda ka tantsupõrandale niiet hiljem tantsisime vihmas :D
*Esmaspäeval kui jooksmas käisime rannas õhtul, läksime peale seda ujuma ning jätsime riided liiva peale. Olime päris kaua vees ning kui tagasi tulime ei leidnud oma riideid enam. Mõtlesime et äkki on lained meid kaugemale triivinud aga tagasi kõndides ikka ei leinud ning siis ma mõtlesin et meri ilmselt tõusis natuke vahepeal ja kõik on nüüd Kariibimeres :D Õnneks olid ujumisriided ikka seljas !! :D Aga kahju oli küll oma lühikestest pükstest. Ja siis tagasi kõndides olime õigel ajal õiges kohas ning nägime kuidas laine mu lühikesed püksid korraks randa triivis ning siis tahtis need merre tagasi vinnata. Jooksin neile järele haha :D Niiet vähemalt sain need kätte, topist ma väga ei hooli.
*Ükspäev nägin ühte mardikat, kes tavaliselt Eestis on üliväikesed, aga see keda ma nägin, mul jäi lihtslt suu lahti. See oli rusikasuurune, tiibadega mardikas :O ning ma ei liialda!! Väga jube. Ma loodan et nad ei lenda, ei tahaks sellist enda suunas lendamas näha :D
*Eile mõtlesin et kui ma pärastlõunal lähen noortele jälle midagi õpetama, õpetan geograafiat. Ma ei tea kas olen maininud juba, aga need kellele ma õpetan on varem juba läbikukkunud koolis ning nüüd kordavad. Aga nende raamtus on ainult Ameerika manner ning nad ei ole ilmselt Aastiast ega sellisest kuulnudki :L Niiet võtsin oma arvuti ja näitasin neile maailma kaarti koos täpsema Euroopa kaardiga, pluss tutvustasin muud maailma ning näitasin pilte Eestist. Nad polnud isegi Austraaliast kuulnud vist ning kui ma küsisin neilt et kus see asub siis nad ei osanud selle asukohta leida, kuigi kõigil riikidel oli nimi kaardi peal. Ning mitu korda kordasime üle et kus peamised riigid asuvad ning nende pealinnad. Nad isegi ei teadnud kus Honduras asub!! Ainult 1/10st peaaegu teadis. Ning kui Hondurase pealinna küsisin üks poiss mõtles ikka päris pikalt.
*Täiskasvanute inglise keele tunnis kus ma üks kord nädalas õhtuti käin, nad tahtsid ühte tundi juurde veel, niiet nüüd on teisipäeviti ja neljapäeviti ka. Nii hea on neile inglise keelt õpetada, sest nad on huvitatud sellest ja alati kuulavad sest nad on seal vabatahtlikult.
*Olen hakanud mõtlema et mida ma peale vabatahtliku tööd siin teeks kui ma tagasi tulen. Päris palju häid ja huvitavaid mõtteid on tulnud. Kindlasti tuleks autojuhiload ära teha sest kunagi ei tea kuna ma jälle pikemat aega Eestis olen. Ning kui sellel ajal Eestis olen tahaks mingisuguse vabatahtliku tööga ka jätkata sest mulle on see hakanud meeldima. Enne siia tulekut mulle väga õpetamine ei istunud, aga kui ma seletada oskan siis mulle päris meeldib.

A week has passed already again and in that time I've noticed lots of other new and interesting things. A tiring but fun week in Kinder, LOTS of new, big and extremely itchy mosquito bites. And ant bites too :-(
*We started doing yoga here, as Jennifer brought DVDs for that.
*Couple of days back a boy came to the afternoon class in skinny jeans and lots of the youngsters laughed at him. We asked with Diana that whats funny about it? And said that where we live some boys wear even skinnier jeans and that is completely normal. I guess it's not here then.
*I love that here there are no strict rules for how many people can sit in a car. Cause once when we walked back from Kinder we saw a car pulled up on the side of the road and about 20 kids next to it and they started going into the car one by one, and kept going and going. I think like 15 kids fit in there at the end :D :D It looked like a clown car.
*Couple of times already, people have asked whether I have children. Last Friday as well, when I was talking to the taxi driver he asked like 'So you have children, yes?' I said noo im only 19 :D
*Went to the grocery store couple of days back again. I bought soo much and spent only about 400 lempiras. Most of my time there I spend in vegetable-fruit section I think. And I also found porridge! So happy. Reminds me of home :D
*So far I still haven't seen any chocolate bars. Only cookies and Snickers and that sort of stuff but not usual chocolate bars.
*The nights are really nice here. The best to be fair. It's not hot and not cold. Perfect temperature and if it has rained, it's also very fresh. And when the stars are out it's just so beautiful.
*Lots of community buildings here have paintings on them. E.g. Kinder, police station, a school wall. And they all look very beautiful as well. Like paintings of the sea, Honduras generally, people.
*At Kinder, children absolutely love stickers. If they could I think they would cover themselves with stickers :D
*Butterflies here are quite big and have a really nice colour and pattern. E.g. bright blue. Really like them.
*Yesterday when I walked past the football pitch, two teams were playing there and there was rubbish everywhere! Like plastic bags, other foot packages etc. Even for that they haven't cleaned it. And sometimes horses just go and eat grass there.
*One day after Kinder we saw an old guy who started saying something in English with swear words, sth like 'You don't like immigrants in your *** country' or similar to that. I think that's all the English he knew. And then I realised that he thinks we are from the USA because of the immigrant problem there, and we are immigrants here so why should they treat us any better. So I said we're from Europe and he said 'Sorry, Have a nice day!' :D :D It's good to be non-American, and especially from Estonia, little innocent country who has never harmed anybody :D
*Last night we went to La Ceiba to watch Honduras v Panama at pub/club. The match was quite interesting, although 0-0 unfortunately. We sat at the back in a pick up truck when we went there, so much fun :D That place was open, so we were dancing in a rain on a dance floor :D
*On Monday we went running on the beach and after that went swimming in the sea. So we left our clothes on the sand and after we had been in the sea for a while, we didn't find our clothes. We thought that the sea had moved us from our initial spot. But after walking on the shore for a while, didn't see anything. So I thought that the sea must have risen in that time and our clothes were now in the Caribbean :D I was quite sad about my shorts, but when we walked back we were at the right place at the right time because my shorts just appeared on the shore for a moment and then stared to drift back so I ran after them :D :D So that's all I got back. Next time we're smarter.

*One day I saw a beetle who in Europe are quite small of course, but here it was the size of a fist !!! And I am not exaggerating. It was huge and I was wondering whether I flies as well, wouldn't be nice to see something like that flying towards you :S
*Yesterday I was thinking that I want to teach geography to the youngsters in the afternoon class as I saw that they only have the map of the American continent in the book and they probably have never heard of Asia, Africa. I don't know if I mentioned but the youngsters I teach have failed school at some point and now they are repeating. So I took my laptop with me together with pics of the world, Europe, Estonia etc. Of course they didn't know where Australia was, even though all the countries had names on the map. So I went though couple of main countries in the world, like England, France, Spain, Russia, some from Asia. Of course Estonia as well and told them a bit of my country. And Philipp talked about Germany. When I asked them where Honduras was, only 1 out of 10 could barely show it on the map.
*In the adult English class where I go once a week, they asked for one more lesson, so now it's Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's really nice to teach there because they always listen and are interested in it, as they are there voluntarily.
*I've started to think about what I want to do after volunteering here. I've come up with quite many interesting ideas. I definitely want to get a driving licence as I don't know when else I will be in Estonia for a longer period of time. And while I will be in Estonia at that time I want to continue doing voluntary work. Because I really like it. Maybe teaching. Before coming here I didn't really like teaching myself but now if I can explain I quite like it.
